NSi proposes extra Slovenian courses for foreign primary school students

Ljubljana, 19 October - The New Slovenia (NSi) has tabled amendments to the Primary School Act under which school-aged immigrant children would be required to undergo a test to determine their Slovenian proficiency. Children who do not pass the test would then have to enrol into a preparatory course to learn the language.
