Stepstool wins best illustrated book award

Ljubljana, 23 October - Stepstool (Pručka), a children's book written by Rok Tkavc and illustrated by Sabina Šinko, has won this year's Kristina Brenk Prize for the best Slovenian illustrated book. The story about a curious little girl finding a way to turn an everyday object into an adventure will speak to a variety of audiences, the jury said.
