National Council votes down softer conditions for immigrant families

Ljubljana, 2 November - The upper chamber of parliament has vetoed changes to the foreigners act that allow family reunification for non-EU workers in Slovenia after one year as opposed to two and that lower the language proficiency level required for family members to stay on after the first year.
