Signatures to be collected to ban glyphosate in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 3 November - A group of voters will start collecting signatures on Monday in support of a bill banning glyphosate production, sale and use in Slovenia. The initiators of the ban, who argue the herbicide is carcinogenic, need to collect 5,000 signatures by 4 January 2024 for the bill to enter parliamentary procedure.
