Malfunction at steel factory causes concern among locals as dust fills the air

Jesenice, 9 November - Dust emissions from steel producer SIJ Acroni have upset locals in two villages in the municipality of Jesenice, north-west. The company, a subsidiary of the steel group SIJ, has said that a dedusting device malfunctioned but has already been fixed. Koroška Bela and Slovenski Javornik locals feared a potential impact on their health.
