MPs pass 2024 and 2025 budgets, full indexation of social transfers

Ljubljana, 24 November - MPs passed on Friday the revised national budget for 2024 and the 2025 budget, with the deficit standing at 3.3% of GDP next year and 1.8% in 2024. The opposition was critical of both budgets, arguing they introduce an excessive tax burden on businesses and residents. Social transfers will be fully adjusted to inflation.
