Committee calls for locals' opinion on wind farms to be taken into account

Ljubljana, 7 December - The parliamentary Infrastructure Committee debated on Wednesday the plan to build wind farms in the Pohorje hills in the north-east. It expressed support for the coalition's decision that the Natural Resources Ministry take into account the local communities' opinion in the process of obtaining construction permits for the project.
