Upper chamber vetoes emergency healthcare bill

Ljubljana, 19 December - The National Council vetoed the government-sponsored emergency healthcare bill on Tuesday, after it was passed by the lower chamber of parliament on Thursday with 47 votes in favour and 25 against, one more than needed to overturn the veto. The re-vote could take place on Friday.
