Ministry annuls contentious seizure of cattle

Ljubljana/Krško/Novo Mesto, 28 December - The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, serving as the second instance authority, has upheld the appeal by the farmer affected in the much publicised November seizure of two dozen cattle at a farm near Krško. Establishing grave violations of the administrative procedure act by the veterinary inspector, it ordered the procedure be repeated.
