Supreme Court upholds ruling over Janša's insulting tweet
Ljubljana, 3 January - The Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal in a case in which SDS head Janez Janša was found guilty of insulting two journalists by calling them "washed up prostitutes" in a 2016 tweet. Since a higher court had upheld a three-month suspended prison sentence with one year probation against Janša, the ruling has become final effective in May 2022.
