Ban on outdoor poultry breeding in place in five municipalities
Ljubljana, 7 February - The Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection issued a ban Thursday on outdoor poultry breeding for five municipalities in northeast Slovenia after new cases of the highly contagious avian influenza of the subtype H5N1 were confirmed.
