US approves Pipistrel aircraft for flight training

Ajdovščina, 6 March - Electric aircraft Velis Electro by Ajdovščina-based plane developer Pipistrel has been granted an airworthiness exemption by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allowing the aircraft to be used in the US for flight training, said the US-owned company.
