Slovenia condemns public executions and denial of women's rights in Afghanistan

New York, 6 March - Slovenia strongly condemned public executions in Afghanistan and urged respect for women's rights during a UN Security Council debate on the situation in the country on Wednesday. Slovenian representative Samuel Žbogar argued that the Taliban's denial of basic rights to Afghan women hinders the country's progress towards a brighter future.
