Dnevnik says rightist politicians are behind opposition to asylum centres

Ljubljana, 11 March - The most recent outbreak of opposition to asylum centres in Slovenia is nothing new, Dnevnik says on Monday, pointing to the "not in my backyard" mantra that Slovenians love. Protests against asylum seekers are encouraged by rightist politicians, who use foreigners to power "cheap Slovenian übermensch patriotism", the newspaper says.
