NGOs call for experts to be included in cannabis referendum discussion

Ljubljana, 16 April - Several organisations have noted that expert public and health and social care NGOs were not involved in the discussion on the proposal for a referendum on the use of cannabis, as the parliamentary Health Committee discussed the issue on Monday and endorsed the proposal. The NGOs warned against quick change, saying it could pose risks.
