Slovenia recognises independent Palestine

Ljubljana, 4 June - The National Assembly recognised an independent Palestine in a unanimous 52:0 vote on Tuesday evening, capping a turbulent day of strategising in parliament that saw partisan recriminations about abuse of parliamentary procedure. The centre-right opposition boycotted the vote.
