NGO says assisted dying vote reflects "wisdom and courage"

Ljubljana, 10 June - Support for assisted dying, as nearly 55% voted for it according to early results, is "proof of wisdom and courage" that voters were not deterred from voting despite misinformation, said Silver Thread, the association that sponsored a bill on voluntary assisted dying, welcoming the yes vote in the consultative referendum.
