Committee rejects NSi's motion for inquiry bill referendum

Ljubljana, 26 June - The parliamentary Justice Committee rejected on Wednesday a motion by the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) for a consultative referendum on changes to parliamentary inquiry legislation. In the debate, the opposition said the coalition was trying to block a specific inquiry, while the latter accused the opposition of abusing referendums.
