Slovenia taking over one-month Security Council presidency

New York, 29 August - Slovenia will officially take over the one-month presidency of the UN Security Council on 1 September to preside over the top UN body during the busiest month for the UN as a whole, when most of the world's leaders gather in New York for the General Assembly's general debate.
