Debate on new nuclear plant urges caution, no decision before 2028

Ljubljana, 19 September - A public debate of energy experts and officials held on Thursday ahead of a consultative referendum on a planned new nuclear reactor in Krško heard calls for a well-thought-out decision that will be based on additional studies and that can wait for another four years. There was however wide agreement that renewables alone will not suffice.
