NGOs call for fossil fuel subsidies to be abolished

Ljubljana, 18 November - Environmental NGOs have called on the government to include a commitment to gradually remove subsidies for fossil fuels into the climate bill in the final stages of its drafting. They highlighted Slovenia's international commitments, as well as reasons how it would benefit the environment, public finance and health.
