Mercator withdraws from purchase of Engrotuš

Ljubljana, 18 November - Mercator, a Slovenian retailer owned by Croatian group Fortenova, has withdrawn from the contract on the purchase of Engrotuš, a company which operates retail shops under the Tuš brand. The reason seems to be the competition watchdog's failure to issue a decision in a year, which marks the end of the exclusivity of the sales contract.
