Rejected candidate wins suit challenging appointment of incumbent police commissioner

Ljubljana, 25 November - Boštjan Lindav, the former acting police commissioner who lost the post to Senad Jušić in February 2023, has won a lawsuit at the Administrative Court in which he claimed Jušić did not meet the job criteria. His lawyer said they had proved that the vetting commission's decision and thus the appointment had been illegal.
