No progress in talks on new ombudsman candidate
Ljubljana, 5 February - Following two rounds of talks with deputy groups on several appointments, President Nataša Pirc Musar has realised that another round will be needed to agree on the candidate for human rights ombudsman, which was in the focus of talks this week, her office said on Wednesday. A two-thirds majority is needed in parliament.
