Govt adopts bill targetting short-term rentals to boost housing stock

Ljubljana, 13 March - The government approved on Thursday a hospitality bill aimed at restricting short-term property rentals to bolster the supply of apartments for long-term residency. The legislation imposes strict limits on short-term letting while granting local authorities flexibility to adapt the rules. The bill has drawn strong criticism from room providers.
