Interests and Qualified People Important in Filling EU Posts, Potocnik Says

Ljubljana, 27 December - A combination of Slovenian interests and the people should be found when placing personnel to the positions in EU institutions. This means that on the one hand we should focus on the areas that are bigger and therefore urgently require Slovenian representation, while on the other hand it should be considered in which areas the country has more chances to get in because of the expertise of its people, since most of the personnel will be selected through public calls for applications, Europe Minister Janez Potocnik told STA.
