Parties Getting Ready for European Parliamentary Elections

Ljubljana, 2 January - Slovenia is to elect its seven members of the European Parliament on Sunday, 13 June, and the parliamentary parties have already launched preparations for the elections. The candidates must be known at least 30 days ahead of the elections, as the information about them must be sent to the National Electoral Commission. So far, only the opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) have revealed their list of candidates.
