NGO Urges Parties to Include Environment in Euro Election Campaign

Ljubljana, 8 February - European political parties should give the environment the place it deserves, a group of eight European environmentalist organisations said in their appeal to the public and politicians ahead of the June elections to the European parliament. The Slovenian foundation for sustainable development Umanotera joined the appeal, calling on local politicians to include environmental issues in their election campaigns.
