LDS Hopes to Win at Least Three Seats in Euro Parliament

Ljubljana, 7 May - Seven candidates that will stand in June parliamentary elections on a joint slate of the ruling coalition Liberal Democracy (LDS) and Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) introduced themselves to the public Friday under the draft slogan "Slovenia, the Future of Europe". LDS MP Jelko Kacin, who tops the list, said that realistically, the joint list could win three seats, although "nothing will stop us from putting up a serious fight for the fourth one".
