Compromise Between National and EU Interests Necessary, MEP Volcic Says

Ljubljana, 9 June - Every member state must solve its problems by finding a compromise between the national and European interests, MEP Demetrio Volcic told the weekly Mag. A former rapporteur for Slovenia, Volcic said that if a country was not prepared to make such a compromise it would be better if it had not entered the EU. Those who want to gain something, must also give something, Volcic said.
