Last Day for Registering Election Candidacies

Ljubljana, 8 September - Potential candidates for the upcoming general election have only one day left to register their intent to stand for parliament with the National Electoral Commission. After the deadline for filing candidacies passes at midnight, the Commission will begin verifying the entered candidacies, issuing verdicts for all by Tuesday, 14 September.
