Percentage of Women Candidates Inching Up Every Election

Ljubljana, 28 September - This year's general election will see the highest percentage of women candidates of any of the three previous general elections. Almost a quarter of all candidates for parliament are women, which is around 1.5 percentage points more than in 2000.
