EU Might Look into Controversial Mercator Deal Before Summer

Ljubljana/Brussels, 7 April - The European Commission had received a supplemented answer of the Economics Ministry on the sale of stakes in retailer Mercator by the state-run KAD and SOD funds and might, if discovering that the sale constituted unlawful state aid, launch an official investigation by summer, the Commission told STA on Friday.
