Govt puts forward Vesel for EU commissioner

Ljubljana, 26 July - The government has unanimously endorsed former Court of Audit president Tomaž Vesel as Slovenia's EU commissioner candidate for the next five years. Speaking to the press after Friday's government session, Deputy Prime Minister Matej Arčon said that given his experience, Vesel, 57, is a very competent candidate.
