Ministry Clarifies Reservations over Croatia's EU Talks

Ljubljana, 10 October - The Foreign Ministry has issued clarification on the foreign minister's statements on Tuesday regarding the obstacle that the Croatian decision to implement the ecological and fisheries zone for EU members can pose for its EU accession talks. Slovenia's reservation in the talks stemming from the Croatian plans relates to the chapter on foreign, security and defence policy rather than that on external relations, the ministry said.
