Bajuk Says Budgets Development-Minded, Opposition Disagrees

Ljubljana, 26 November - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk presented in parliament on Monday the government-crafted budget documents for 2008 and 2009, which he said continued the government's frugal but development-minded fiscal policies. His presentation failed to convince the opposition parties, which said the budget documents were poor and announced they would reject them in Wednesday's vote.
