Lawmakers to Vote on Budget Today

Ljubljana, 28 November - The parliament is to vote on Wednesday on the government-crafted budget documents for 2008 and 2009. Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk has presented the documents as development-minded and frugal. While the coalition has defended this view, the opposition has criticised the budgets as poor and announced it would not support them.
