Rupel: Cyprus Meeting Gives Hope for Unification

Ljubljana, 21 March - The current chair of the EU General Affairs and External Relations Council, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimtrij Rupel, welcomed on Friday the meeting of Cypriot President Dimitris Christofias and the leader of Cypriot Turks, Mehmet Ali Talat, saying the talks "outlined measures for encouraging trust between the two sides on the Island".
