Cotman Appeals for "Social Europe"
Brussels, 16 May - Slovenian Minister of Social Affairs Marjeta Cotman regretted in Brussels on Friday that poverty was still present in the 21st century and even growing in some parts of the world. In 2005, 16% of people in the EU and 11.7% of Slovenians lived below poverty line, Cotman told the 7th European Meeting of People Experiencing Poverty.
