EU Finally Reaches Accord on Start of Talks with Russia

Brussels, 21 May - EU member states reached agreement Wednesday on the guidelines for talks a new strategic partnership with Russia, finally overcoming opposition from Lithuania, the Slovenian EU presidency said after the consensus was reached at the level of ambassadors to the EU.
