Rupel Welcomes Medvedev's Move, Hopes for EU Unity

Ljubljana, 12 August - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said in Ljubljana on Tuesday that the decision of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to halt military operations in Georgia was encouraging news, although coming after a series of very bad news from this part of the world. He announced Slovenia would send humanitarian aid to Georgia.
