Pahor Highlights Importance of Slovenia's Carbon Sinks

Brussels, 30 October - Emphasis on reduction of greenhouse gas emissions because of sustainable management of forests, which create CO2 sinks, is of key importance for Slovenia in the EU's mandate for the UN climate change conference in Copenhagen in December, Prime Minister Borut Pahor said after the EU summit in Brussels on Friday.
