Tuerk: Demos Deserves Main But Not All Credit for Independence

Ljubljana, 21 December - President Danilo Tuerk said in an interview aired by TV Slovenia on Monday that Demos, the first opposition coalition in Slovenia, which won the first multi-party election in 1990, played an enormous role in Slovenia's independence. However, there were also others who contributed to creating the right conditions, Tuerk added.
