Biggest Hospital to Lose EUR 15M Due to Cost-Cutting in 2010

Ljubljana, 23 February - The UKC Ljubljana hospital is facing cuts in funding due to austerity measures enforced by the Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS). Simon Vrhunec, the director general of Slovenia's biggest hospital, said on Tuesday that the hospital would receive about EUR 15m less in 2010, but that the cuts would not affect its services.
