Hospitals Urged to Cut Costs

Ljubljana, 13 April - Faced with the prospect of a EUR 100m shortfall in the health budget, Health Minister Dorjan Marusic urged hospitals Tuesday to cut costs, but managers say there is little wiggle room and cost-cuts may end up curbing service. Marusic also presented ideas on how to take on the problem of an insufficient number of doctors.
