UKC Ljubljana Scraps Non-Urgent Surgery, Marusic, Tuerk Urge Agreement

Ljubljana, 6 September - The Ljubljana UKC hospital said on Monday that some of its departments will need to stop carrying out non-urgent surgery as the result of the withdrawal of doctors' consent to work extra overtime in response to plans to cut their standby duty bonuses in 2011. The move comes amid renewed calls for an agreement.
