Committee Backs Watered-Down Gay Adoption Proposal
Ljubljana, 7 April - The Labour, Family and Social Affairs Committee endorsed a new proposal in the new family law that would allow gay couples to adopt a child only if one of the partners is the child's biological parent. The opposition deputies voted against what was actually designed as a compromise proposal.
