Parliament Divided Over New Bill On Prosecution Service

Ljubljana, 21 April - MPs started on Thursday the debate on a new bill on the prosecution service that overhauls appointment procedures and gives greater powers to the special task force for organised crime. While the coalition hailed the bill as providing for greater efficiency and autonomy of the prosecution, the opposition claimed the opposite.
