Committee Backs Proposal for Local Election in Koper

Ljubljana, 9 May - The parliamentary Local Government and Regional Policy Committee backed on Monday a motion by coalition MPs to call a regular local election in the municipality of Koper, after this was delayed due to failed attempts to establish a new municipality of Ankaran, which would break away from Koper.
