Experts Call for Change in Local Government Policy

Ljubljana, 25 January - A debate in the wake of the parliamentary Local Government and Regional Development Committee's decision to reject a new municipality last week raised flaws in Slovenia's local government policy. Experts highlighted a number of issues, including interpretations of Constitutional Court's rulings and the need for strong municipalities.
